Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry

Department of Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry is imparting theoretical and practical instructions to undergraduate students as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education Degree Course Regulations of Veterinary Council of India. The department is also conducting postgraduate master (MVSc) and doctoral (PhD) degree program.

1. Mandates/ objective of the department: Department has following mandate and objectives:

  • To impart high quality education in the subject of Veterinary Physiology & Veterinary Biochemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • To undertake basic and applied research in the field of veterinary Physiology, Veterinary Biochemistry and Veterinary Biotechnology
  • To provide consultancy to the needy farmers of animals and poultry and entrepreneurs for maximising production in different climatic conditions
