Experimental Learning Programme

ICAR has recommended a new initiative called “Experimental Learning Programme” in the recently received curriculum for B.sc. (Ag.) degree Programme following recommendation of IV Deans Committee. The SVPUA&T has also implemented ELP with a load of 20 credits in the VIII semester with its emphasis on moulding graduates from “Job seekers to job providers in all the constituent colleges from 2010-2011. The primary aim of this initiative is to remove the weakness in the earlier higher agricultural education system and to develop a cadre of professionals who can create their own enterprises. It is expected that the experiential learning programme will bring professional and practical work experiential in seal life situation of students.
